Vision

The natural heritage and natural resources of the state of Odisha is secured

NEWS started as a wildlife conservation and sustainable livelihood with a focus on protecting of wild animals and livelihood security of the local people over the years in particular area of Satkosia gorge sanctuary of the state of Odisha. The prospective expanded to reflect a more holistic understanding of conservation and livelihood issues facing Odisha in different protected areas.
